چکیده

Abstract In a world where communication requires ever faster data transmission capable of transmitting high speeds. order to reach and transmit this speed, it is necessary increase the frequency that carries information. For this, scientists are interested in terahertz (THz) range which, thanks its frequencies between 0.1 THz 30 THz, offers possibility increasing rate. This letter presents inclusion Dodecagon Split Ring Resonator (D-SRR) rectangular microstrip patch antenna effect performance proposed antenna. The metamaterial design employs two types SRRs resonators shapes such as Broadside Coupled (DBC-SRR) (D-SRR). model applied uses local field approach allowed obtain dispersion characteristics discrete negative magnetic permeability. substrate Arlon AD1000 material, which helps attain gain good directivity at frequency. investigated with without superstrate. operating vary 0.66 - 0.69 shows maximum 10.4 dB 9.84 dB. HFSS software tool simulate parametric analysis design. novel structure may find applications imaging, remote systems manifold possibilities medical field.

Broadband compact microstrip patch antenna design loaded by multiple split ring resonator superstrate and substrate

We present microstrip patch antenna loaded with multiple split ring resonator substrate and superstrate. We analyze how the loading of split ring resonator superstrate and substrate can improve the bandwidth compared to the simple microstrip patch antenna and microstrip patch antenna loaded with split ring resonator superstrate. Another important observation is made for multiple split ring reso...

Gain and Bandwidth of Micro-strip Patch Antenna with Split Ring Resonator (SRR)

This paper present the improvement in gain of micro-strip patch antenna, which is used with Circular, Rectangular and Square shaped split ring resonator designed at a separate substrate at height 0.05mm from the ground plane. In spite of design complexity it is easy and commercially cheap way of enhancing gains of micro-strip antenna. Simulations have been performed using High Frequency Structu...

Complementary Split Ring Resonator Based Triple Band Microstrip Antenna for WLAN/WiMAX Applications

A new simple design of a triple-band microstrip antenna using metamaterial concept is presented in this paper. Multi-unit cell was the key of the multi resonance response that was obtained by etching two circular and one rectangular split ring resonator (SRR) unit cells in the ground plane of a conventional patch operating at 3.56 GHz. The circular unit cells are resonating at 5.6 GHz for the u...

Suspended Microstrip Patch Antenna with Dielectric Resonator Loading for Enhanced Bandwidth

Microstrip patch antennas are well known for their advantages in terms of small weight, low profile and ease of manufacture. However, the main limiting factor in implementing these antennas in many applications is their low impedance bandwidth (typically 2-3%). One popularly used technique of enhancing the bandwidth is to use multi-layered microstrip[1,2]. The most widely accepted structure in ...

Complementary Split Ring Resonator Effects on Radiation Pattern Reconfigurable Circular Microstrip Antennas

In this study, a radiation pattern reconfigurable microstrip antenna is designed and fabricated. The antenna’s radiation pattern is directed in 9 different angles by employing a radiating patch and embedding complementary split ring resonators (CSRR) on the ground plane. The radiating patch is of circular shape, while for CSRR elements both circular and rectangular shapes are investigated. The ...
